In the winter, bring extra gas. 

There is no end to the area you can explore on your snowmobile.  There are endless logging roads and trails for the laid back snow cruiser as well huge snow covered cut blocks and mountains for the more adventurous. 

If snow shoeing or cross country skiing are your passion there is great terrain right out the front door!  If its back country skiing one of the favorite local hotspots is just a few kilometers up the road.

**IMPORTANT**  Neither Grizzly Basin or any other group or individual monitor or control any of the avalanche terrain located in or around the Grizzly Basin cabins.  Some of the area has high potential for avalanche danger.  It is up to the user to determine these areas.  It is essential that users have Mountain experience, Avalanche training, and all of the necessary avalanche equipment along with knowledge of  how to use it.  Avalanche conditions found at avalanche.ca (Lizard range)
